Thinking about getting a Canon EOS 70D. A person can download to various phones, etc....but, can you download while shooting to your PC??

I just got mine and have barely learned to turn it on select my settings. I haven't even tried live view or wifi yet. Sorry, I couldn't help.

From the Canon website: Built-in wireless technology and the EOS Remote app* further enhance shooting versatility, as well as enable easy sharing.
Just to add to this, just about any camera can send files wirelessly to your computer by adding a Eye-Fi SD card to the camera when shooting. There are to different style of Eye-Fi cards to choose from in various capacities. One that will transfer all types of image files including raw images to the comptuer or other device and one that will only do jpgs to android and iPhone/iPad devices via direct connect.
Also, with a wire you can use programs such as LightRoom to tether your camera to computer while shooting.

70D looks like a game changer - -
Better low ISO performance than the 7D
Adequate FPS for sports
And a Flip-out view-screen (which I sorely miss on my 7D)
Snapsport rates the 7D vs 70D a 'tie'

You can 'tether' most Canon's to your computer with the Canon software - - and I'm pretty sure you can download the images over the same link. It would be pretty silly of Canon not to permit tethering over the WiFi link built into the 70D - but as I do not have a 70D, cannot confirm.
