Sorry, could not resist the temptation the sky was so beautiful tonight!

Before anyone mentions it, in the 4th photo the line at the top of the image was a shaft of light and not a fault. It was very visable to the eye and I have never observed it before. Image 5 shows the light beam on both side spreading as it gets father from the bright area at the bottom of the photo. Again the images are not up to scratch as far as quality is concerned they just do not show the brilliance which I saw with the naked eye!

Any body explain the search light effect. these are straight out of the camera and if anybody wants to Photoshop to improve them I would be delighted to see the results.

Thanks

Ian Hargraves

I don't think they can be improved. So I added Katy lines. If you look at the thick black line, cross your eyes to form two black lines, your photo will appear between these two lines in 3D. And thank you for sharing this with us.

Thanks for the comments but I bet some of the magicians with Photoshop could do wonders with them.
I once owned a wooden stereo viewer and bunch of cards, Victorian I believe and also a "Ticker" camera which was silver and looked like a fob watch. I had desires to collect photo antiques but not the pocket book to match! Ah well, I have the same desires for a Phase One camera as well!

Did you know that if you scan the 3D cards to create a digital file for your computer then revers the photos right to left then you do not need the wooden stereo viewer to see those antique photos in 3D? You will only need to cross your eyes.:-o
They are exactly the opposite of mine. That means my 3D photos can be switched for viewing inside the wooden viewer :XD:
That way people would not need to cross there eyes to view my photos. I save all of my own files incase one day I can make this a reality.

I would say that your left eye is in better shape than your right?

Did you notice while crossing your eyes to view in 3 D the photos are corrected so that the ray of sunshine points straight up into the air in 3 D, not to the right or left? and btw I'm not sure I understand about my left eye, no I'm sure I do not understand what you mean at all.
If you are even posting to me, I cant tell, but you can send me a PM and explain if you want

Good idea but I only have one eye that works and I have no depth perception!

Thanks for the comment but I can only take the credit for actually pressing the shutter as its a fully automatic point and shoot. I consider myself lucky to be able to look at the sky in monder of such a magnificent display!

Baloney, one still has to know when to press that shutter and how to compose. :D
