Use for Old Lenses

I have a few old lenses from film cameras, and they have no cash value, at least according to ebay. One is a Pentax SMC 70-210mm Zoom. Another is an even older long, Soligor T-Mount zoom, from the 1970's.
Aside from room decorations or paperweights, does anyone know of another use for these?

There are adaptors for the T mount lenses. You may want to look at those before dscarding the T mount lens. It still may be useable on your current camera.

I had several old Nikon lenses and got such ridiculous offers that I finally found a photography student that would use them and just gave them away. I was happy that I found a place where they would be used and appreciated.

I have 4 canon lens with a canon ae1 body just setting around. 18 to 55. 55 to 200. 75 to 300. and a 55 1.8 len

You can get 30 or so dollars for that 70-210 I bought a 70-200 about a month ago and payed 30 for it.
If I would not have just spent a bundle on the new K-5 I would buy it.

Most if not all Pentax lenses old or new will fit new digital Pentax cameras. You just won't have AF. but IS. is in the body. This is what was said on the video advertisement anyway. I'm a Pentaxian fool for sure.

I was surprised to see those electrical contacts on the base of this lens, like modern lenses have.

Pentax F lenses work perfectly well with Pentax Dslar/s I am using that 70-210 on my K-R and it works perfectly and is sharp as a tack.
