I played with this photo for an hour with color and got it looking OK (to me) Then it hit me....just called for B&W (I think). Please tell me I made the right choice. C&C definitely wanted & needed.

Wow, I don't know they both look good to me, I still think old buildings look good done in black and white though.

Is this a recent photo as it looks like fall has come to your area already, can't wait to shoot the Aspens here in Colorado when they turn.

I went back and forth looking at the two pictures. I think I am leaning towards the B & W

Hi Don,
Of course it only one person's opinion, but it appears to me the color shot is a little too saturated. Between the two, I agree, you did make the right choice. 'Old' is synonymous with B&W or Sepia, since they're probably from the same era. I prefer the B&W one.

Thank you, Lorima. Good eye! Taken Nov., 2011, definitely the fall.

The color one has much more depth to it and more definition. I can mentally walk through the picture. I like it very much.

BW, a bit more crop to accentuate the crumbling barn. Nice photo.

I like the B&W but prefer the crop in the color shot. The building is to the right in the color shot but seems more in the center with the B&W.
