Daughter Daddy Moment

I'd had an ear operation and was forced to watch from the beach; so took some shots of my son surfing with his daughter waiting for him to return from the water. It all leads up to the moment she greets him with a big hug. Taken with a 30d a few years ago. C & C welcome and thanks for looking.

Visited a San Clemente beach back in '72. Three of us (military) were photo support to President Nixon's photogs and set up a make-shift B&W darkroom in a motel to print PR shots as needed. During the down time we visited the beach, but don't remember it as being so stoney. ;-) It was November cold and blustery with no one else around. Your shot just brought back an old memory for me. Thanks.

The main beaches don't have many, but it depends on the tide, storm surges etc. Those photos were taken at Trail 1(6 trails exist, just south of the nuclear power plant.
