What do you call cowardice, alleged reluctance to engage in strikes that will raise the Syrian body count far higher than they would have done on their own, or the willingness to involved Congress in a momentous decision, instead of hiding behind the more permissive provisions of the War Powers Act?

Syria did NOT attack the U.S. so it is not our problem and Obama and Congress does not have anything to vote on. It does not involve us! It is a problem for the U.N. It is a U.N. vote whether to go into Syria or not. That is the only place that the U.S. has a rightful and legal place at this time to vote on the problem at hand.
Do I like it that Syria used chemical weapons? no, but we have to follow the proper channels. We must wait for a U.N. resolution before anyone can act.
