I am trying to improve my skills at creating stitched images. I still have some pixel aberration at the stitch points and not sure what is the most effective way to reduce or eliminate them. Suggestions?
I have a much better resolution copy, but I kept getting size errors (connection reset) until I significantly reduxed the image size
DigiKid: How many pictures were used when you stitched them together? I would say two but maybe three. The thumbnail is not very big even when I downloaded it, so it is hard to see this problem you mention. The first picture on the left looks fine and if the pictures stitched where I think they did, the second picture looks like you zoomed in a bit as the bottom does not line up with the bottom, hence the straight line. I have never tried stitching pictures with waves before, so that might have added to the problems. What software did you use to do the stitching. Someone else may have more to add once we know what software was used.
I am not a pro, but this is my opinion.

Thanks for the time and effort; I appreciate it
When you're stitching photos together, make sure your camera is rotating on the nodal point of the lens you're using. It makes a big difference to the software trying to stitch it together. Also make sure your camera is rotating on the same plane as this can also effect how well the software stitches it together. I can also see the number of shots you took just by the exposure variations. Try using a little more overlap when making your shots. It should help the software pick stitching points with more consistent exposure. As for the waves I've got nothing. The only thing I can think of is set your exposures long enough for them to blur out. Or if you're good enough blend them manually in photoshop.
I did enjoy seeing your work. I am wondering - do the seals still come ashore at the old steam power plant?
