Thank you, I was sat in a deckchair about 30ft away from them.
Great pictures. I always enjoy seeing birds from other countries and ones not common around where I live.

Thank you, I was a bit wary about posting photos of such common birds after seeing all the rare and exotic bird photos that often appear here. But I must admit that our sparrows are certainly not rare here, yesterday we had about twenty of them squabbling around the feeders, and they do make a loud noise.
