Why Waste Time

What looked like a spectacular sunset in the making ended up fizzling out by the time I drove to the location from which I wanted to photograph it. (5PM rush hour traffic was not kind). I ended up just figuring that instead of wasting the time, I'd try some exposure experiments.

Basically, I feel that if there is nothing worth shooting, why even take the camera out of the bag. However, experiments are just that, and things can be discovered by doing them. Though not spectacular, it seems to have worked this time.

Very good composition but B&W just doesn't do anything for me. I grew up in the B&W era and have always thought that color is the greatest thing that ever happened to photography.

Thank you, wilikioti. I appreciate your compliment. Like yourself, I also became involved in photography in the black and white era, if one wishes to call it that. Though I enjoy working in color, my black and white roots are still firmly grasping the soil.

Thanks for looking and commenting.

That's what I was gonna say. I was tickled to death when they got the color right on color tv sets.
