Fifth American destroyer heads toward the Mediterranean in build-up before possible strike on Syria
Dirtpusher, Most of the time you and I are on opposite sides of an issue so I'm going to ask you because I have a feeling you'll be honest.
I personally couldn't care less about Syria and I don't think it's worth one American life. Having said that, what is the issue here? It was perfectly okay when Assad was killing his own people with guns, bombs and artillery but we're all teary eyed because he used chemicals; if in fact it was him and not some rogue general or the rebels themselves.
Last time I checked, dead is dead.
Why is it acceptable to kill civilians with bombs, guns, drones and cruise missiles but totally unacceptable to use chemicals or gas?
you know i think it just one those things everybody trying to push. that wmd thing.but we were pretty close to being the first on that...
Violates the Chemical Weapons Convention and Geneva Gas Protocol. It was agreed that no one should use these weapons and Assad has.
I think they should fight it out until the last Syrian is standing.
Big problem is how are these weapons secured.

They were shipped in from IRAQ a few years ago...just before the Gulf Wars.
