We were driving home taking some country back roads when we noticed this old abandoned farm house next to a corn field.
No one has lived here for years and yet the sunflowers against the old red building made me want to stop and take some photo's.
It is so sad to see all the abandoned farms around here.

I can see why you stopped. Beautiful setting. I like them all but prefer #1 where you cropped tight to eliminate the sky. Thanks for sharing.

You have such a great eye, Lori! #1 for me, too - the contrast between bright and dark, happy and sad. Flowers leading you into black spaces with broken windows.

Thank you John, I know the sky was very overcast and had basically no color at all to it.
