If you have a cool old black and white you took the time to scan feel free to show it.

Leaving the house...hat, gloves stockings....no jeans here!

A person could write a whole story about her. I hope you've kept up on your family history.

1 - My grandfather... and two of his kids, about 1932 in Rockwood, Michigan.

2 - My Dad...WWII in the Navy.

3 - My Mother's graduation picture 1936 Trenton High School, Michigan

4 - My Dad's brother Pat, US Marines, WWII.

5 - Put-In-Bay Ohio, 1930's

I scanned all these and restored them, along with many more.

Mike

These photos are all so awesome. A lot of service men back then. I think all my old family photos are on my storage drive. I'll have to see if I can find a copy to share. Thanks for starting this thread. Cheryl

Wow, wow, wow. What an awesome old photograph. Now do you have the genealogy on some of them? Did you ever count how many attended? We've been having family reunions since the 1930's, but the younger folks don't attend too much now. I guess busy all over the country. We hold it Sunday, every Labor Day. We have about 30 people attend now. Cheryl

My grandmother turned 95 two years ago, and because it's "easy" I was tasked with compiling the family photo history. Our oldest surviving shots (that we have available) date back to the mid 1800's but I'm told there are more that are even older. We have a rather large family and have had reunions I'm told as far back as the early 1600's. I did eventually find all the names and match them to my father's lineage.
These days we hold one every 5 years or so, and if I had to guess there are around 80 who attend.

I like looking at old photos. Here are three from my wife's grandparents album. I have hundreds of old photos like this starting from the '20's. I like looking at the old cars, their dress and just everything that come out in these type of pictures. These were taken somewhere near Lawton, Ok.

I want to comment on each and everyone of these...but it would take to long and you would probably be annoyed so let me just say...Keep em coming. I LOVE looking at them.

I grabbed a few old manila envelopes full of them from my mom....the skinny one who started this thread...a lot are wedding pics, but there are some others that are great too. I havent finished the job yet...you all inspire me to do so. Thanks for posting
