I think where we screwed up was giving them permanent residency. We should have allowed them 6 or 12 months to adjust to our culture and if they couldn't or wouldn't, send them back. But one thing I will never understand is those who claim political assylum because they would be tortured under sharian law and then try to turn Britian over to the very law that has condemned them.

As we all know, the only constant is change and our memories are fixated on the last things we see. This girl came back to a totally different neighborhood as it happens to many. I know that someone will correct me on this, but my understanding is that England's Muslim population is at around 8%, second to France with approximately 9+. When dealing with such amounts, it's very difficult to control especially when they are born and raised in systems where are their laws are interrelated with their religion. Now, I want to make it clear that I am not defending any Muslims or I'm being a liberal. I am just try to reason this out objectively. I think that racism will always exist worldwide, regardless of which country we live in mainly due to ignorance and driven by paranoia. To me is totally absurd that women have to wear burkas, walk behind their husbands and be ready to take a beating even by a stranger if they believed you are breaking their sharia law. Most alarming is the fact that over 29% of the European population is comprised of Muslims mixing with the European born and imposing their religion on them. The consequence that we are now facing is that we are now seeing homegrown radicals difficult to detect that are ready to blow us up just for the hatred instilled in them by radical Muslims residing in our country. When you have a young population with high unemployment as it is happening in most Muslim countries, all it takes is a dominating radical to control their minds. In order to understand them, we must think like them. This will never happen in the West. Just try to convince a young lad that if he blows himself up in public, there will be 20 virgins waiting for him and he will understandably laugh and walk away from you thinking that you are totally nuts. But if you are standing in a corner with a group of youngers, out of work and a lot of time to think while eating dust and lacking the bear necessities, the picture will change entirely.
