DB...The latte finish is actually nice....BUT....the color photo of this beautiful girl just jumps out at me.

No lighting - just the sun (was early and therefore was low to the ground). Used a fast 35mm prime (f/1.8) so light was adequate I think and she's a trooper (good at holding pretty still).
Can't begin to tell you how proud I am of this gal - but like I said, I'm quite biased.

Beautiful shots of a lovely young lady. I like number one. It focuses entirely on her with no color background to distract. You can't lose either way.

Go with the latte, DB. It might otherwise have been a more difficult choice, but the color shot is marred by a minor flaw: that green moss on the tree distracts the eye from the lovely senior lass. Not enough to ruin the photo, but enough to tip the scales to the latte (where the distracting green is neutralized).
