You must be wanting that "Look" Andy, but to be honest I think they need lifted slightly, maybe some more contrast and dodging.
But they still look different, which, again I like. So perhaps I'm wrong with my comments! Either way thanks for sharing them.
Mormally i prefer color photos. These are great. They seem to capture the essence of what you shooting. Makes a statement. Really nicely done.

These are lovely Andy. All places for me to see.

Thanks for the comment, I seem to be getting that "look."
Still practising with the dodge and burn so perhaps I'll get there. Just enjoying a new area to work on to be honest.

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.
I'm still learning to be honest and hope to improve as I go.

In hindsight I am totally wrong with my initial comments, why, well it stems from one of my granddaughters when she was painting a flower at the age of 3. To be honest I should think about what she said to me before I ever post a comment/reply. I said to her, "why don't you paint the flower like this (showing her how I did it), to which she replied, "No grandad, I want to paint it MY way".She was absolutely right of course, and I said,"you are quite right, grandad is wrong, you should always make whatever you're doing, your own". Kids...they keep us right. So, you are right to do your own thing, LOL.

Nice pictures but I am really drawn to the bridge. The structure is quite unique. I have seen the single truss before but it was always in the cener of the roadway. This one appears to be on one side at one end and at the other side at the other. Thanks for sharing.
