The President should keep his mouth shut on this and other matters of controversy that has nothing to do with the Office that he holds. He should not have said anything about the Zimmermen case. That is not his job. There is enough controversy already surrounding the Office of the President.

So, Bangee, what should they have said about the clown incident? Anything, nothing, or something else?
I guess that Obama really can't say anything about Chris Lane, because now there's been an octogenarian WWII Vet, a couple of more 20 year old kids (these do go back to April), and a homeless person. I guess he couldn't comment on all of them. You're right, Bangee.
The comment was by Josh Earnest not the President! Nor was it an official statement of the White House!
BTW the Josh's comment was appropriate and to the point!

Which, ole sarg, is why I chose my words carefully and said "White House," which Josh Earnest is part of. I would, like 41, say "read my lips," but I doubt that you can read anything with comprehension.
Josh Earnest is the White House Special Assistant to the President and Principal Deputy Press Secretary. The answer was made in response to questions from reporters. Official? It's coming from somebody is official as they come.
