I wanted to compare Photoshop Elements with Paint Shop X4. I downloaded Paint shop X4 trial, but when I tried to open it, got a message that there was 0 time left instead of the 30 days it suppose to give you. Does anyone know if their trial time is no longer available for X4 version?
Thank you.
Deleted the program and try to upload it again . there is a free 30 day program. I have 3x and like it

This usually happens if you've downloaded the trial before. If that's not the case, then I don't know.
Never downloaded X4 before. Tried downloading again and got same results, 0 days left. Think I will go with Photoshop Elements 10.
Thanks for the help.

NP. PE 10 will probably be just what you need. I have PSP X3 and several of the previous versions and have finally come to the conclusion that after learning Photoshop (such as my skills are), I have no use for it anymore.
I have been using Photoshop CS5 as a monthly rental, as well as Elements 10, Lightroom 3.5, PSP X4, and Photo-Paint X5. I'm giving Photoshop CS5 back to Adobe for the simple reasons that it is too expensive and PSP X4 does everything that I was using in CS5. I've never liked Elements, but I do like Lightroom 3.5 a lot.
I use the same software but have a question. How does one make the sky bluer on photos? Any assistance will be appreciated...
Thanks
Uncle...
I'm using PSPx4 regularly. However, I'm starting to get pop-ups when I close the program, saying PSPx5 is available for a 59.00 upgrade. Maybe they're not doing the x4 free trial any longer?
PSPx4 is NOT a substitute for the "PhotoShop" level of programs. There are many thing PS does that PSP won't do. That being said, for the average non-professional - like you and me - it's more than enough. For the price, there are a TON of neat gadgets, tricks, and enhancements that you can use.
Find out why it won't open for you, get it loaded and try it. Give it a fair chance. If, after that, you decide to dump it, fine. My opinion is that it's a good program - and like anything, it takes some learning. Thanx

Ronn, I know that you responded to another person request reference to the free trial for ProX4, but can you provide an answer as to how to increase the color of a light blue sky...Thanks

Hey, rstar. There might be a few billion ways to increase the color of a light blue sky. It just depends on the individual picture as to which would be best. Unfortunately, I've already upgraded to PSP X5 (came out a couple of days ago) and don't even have PSP X4 on my computer anymore. If we presume that things are not that different for doing a simple task, try this:
Open your photo.
Click on "Adjust" in the menu bar.
Click on Hue/Saturation.
Click on Hue/Saturation/Lightness.
Play around with the settings until you get what you want.
Perhaps if you could upload a picture I could download and work on it to see if I can get you the easiest way that does the best job.
Thanks! I just put photo out there for review...

The photo isn't showing up.
When you upload it, make sure you click the box next to "(store original)."
That one is probably ripe for sky replacement rather than trying to make it bluer.
Here is one result, probably the easiest because of the trees. I'll put the steps together for you in my next comment.
