There has been nothing done to improve the roads or traffic for more than 30years. I still love L.I. but getting off it by car is the worst part of any trip. I just found this aerial photo I took almost 50yrs ago for a local paper(which is no longer in existence).

Yep. They seen to constantly be doing road work but it always seems the same. I do like Long Island, there's a lot to do here. But I guess there's a price to pay.

Not so bad, at least on the East End. That is if you avoid the LIE and Sunrise Hwy.
