Kemo Sabe

The Lone Ranger and Tonto went camping in the desert. After they got their tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep.

Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, 'Kemo Sabe, look towards sky, what you see? '

'The Lone Ranger replies, 'I see millions of stars.' What that tell you?' asked Tonto. The Lone Ranger ponders for a minute then says, 'Astronomically speaking, it tells me there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo. Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three in the morning.
Theologically, the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant.
Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.
What's it tell you, Tonto?'

Dave, I used to lay across my bed listening to a huge console Philco radio to the LR. I remember hearing "Maw, who was that masked man anyway?"
"Hi-Yo, Silver! Away!"

Also, Inner Sanctum, Green Hornet, Amos and Andy, Mrs. Goldberg, The Shadow, Boston Blackie. Great shows.

I have a site that has maybe 100,old radio programs on it.I just don't know how to get it on this site.If anyone is interested and knows how to do it ill

I collect Old Time Radio shows and a site that has thousands of shows is Boxcars 711. Here is the link in case you are interested. http://boxcars711.podomatic.com/

The nice thing about this site is that it explains the show and also describes the individual episodes so you have a better idea of what to download. The downside to this site is that the guy that puts it together frequently adds some silly verbage of his own to the start of each show but you merely have to fast forward past that junk. One of the great things about these old shows is the fact that the commercials are usually included. They are most interesting during the war years---you can learn how many cans of household grease you need to turn in to your butcher in order to get extra ration stamps for bacon or butter etc.
