I have used diatomaceous earth as a non-toxic insect killer, but have never heard of it as as a de-worming agent for pets or people. Interesting.

I am not too sure what that means. That I am deranged?
I used diatomaceous earth selectively on the points of entry for some invasive ants in a cabin, and got rid of them. I have never used it in the garden because it kills indiscriminately all bugs, beneficial and beautiful ones as well. Literally speaking, it is not toxic. One could say it kills by erosion rather than by poisoning.

As a point that the commercial video in the link does not mention is that the DE in its powder form can destroy your lungs if you inhale enough of it, like silicosis (black lung) that kills miners.

I think maybe my link didn't work for you.And no,I wasn't suggesting that you are deranged, just that your comment doesn't fit the video I posted.

 Sorry!!! Somehow my computer brought up the link next on line to your real link. I have no idea how that happen. I didn't mean to highjack your post with its very interesting link.

I saw a video with the moon replaced by different planets. While the size comparison is interesting, I would hate to see the tidal effects of placing a massive planet like Jupiter near the earth. I imagine the earth at that distance would be pulled right into Jupiter with catastrophic effects on its inhabitants.
Hmm... How fast would he earth have to be orbiting in order to remain a satellite of Jupiter if the distance between the two planets was the same as the distance to the moon?
(About 400000 km)
Sounds like a physics exam question. ;)
