Hello, I am a newbie but have been redding this forum daily for a few months. I have always been an underwater photographer who has recently resurfaced into the digital world from film into the tangible world of terra firma. Am I on the right track? Thanks for your help. I really do appreciate feedback. Thanks

Just a bit of added exposure, added contrast, added saturation, and added sharpness.
Not much of a change. Mostly in Aspens in foreground.

 Beautiful photo. IMHO you are on the right track. Would like to see more. I caught the RESURFACED notation. While nikonian72's tweek did enhance the forground trees, it blew out the sky, and took detail from the mountians. I did a very quick composition of both your original and his tweek just to see what it would look like. Hope you don't mind.

Where in Colorado could you go wrong? It is so beautiful in the mountains it makes my head spin trying to take it all in.

Colorado is amazing and trying to access some of it's areas make you really appreciate it when you stumble upon a spectacular vista.

Actually, it is Mt. Sneffles off of County Road 7 behind the Dallas Divide.

I like the original shot better than all the edited corrections. The oriq. shot leads your eye to the valley and allows you to view the whole picture. The edited versions having bright colors in the forground draw your attention to that and you miss the whole picture. Are you on the right track? YES SIR you are!

It was taken outside Ridgeway Colorado which is about a 5 hour drive rom here. I cannot wait to go back next october, the colors were a little late this year. The other one that I took is from Flagstaff. I'll bet that it is gorgeous up there :)
