Well in all sincerity, what would you use one for. I went to B&H, and looked them up, I could buy a really good cheap camera for the price of one. :?:

B&H has them in the Hi Tech model for $32.00. They create an orange/brownish cast to a photo.
Go to flicker and type it in the search box. I can't decide whether I like the effect or not.

I didn't see that one, I did see some around $70-80 ish, but they were graduated. All the solid ones I saw were - well around the price of my G12, which was not exactly cheap.

Try this link.http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/810867-REG/Hitech_HT85TOB2_Cokin_P_85_x.html You would really need to see them on flicker or some other site to get an idea of what they do.

Ok, but that one is graduated also. I don't know, I have a sepia effect built in, seems that would be about the same.

The link I sent you is solid and it doesn't even resemble sepia.

Ok I didn't go to that one, that's a coken I really don't like that system but that's a matter of personal pre. Yeah I started think that it would not resemble sepia, because it is superimposed over color.

I still don't know what effect advantage it would have, you might get it with a bad white balance setting. :)

You would really need to check it out on flicker to get an accurate view. The sample on B&H don't give it justice. They just look muddy to me.
