Corel Paintshop Pro 6X Ultimate Pre-Release

Corel has just announced that Paintshop Pro 5X Ultimate owners can get the pre-release of 6X Ultimate (as a download only -- no boxed sets available right now) for $59.99. It has many new features such as 64 Bit Power. It also comes with Reallusion Face Filter 3 and with Perfectly Clear by Athentech Imaging. Perfectly Clear is a $199.00 program by itself.

It was too good of a deal to pass up, so I just bought mine.

If have x5 then you should have received an email. This is a pre-sale for current customers. It will be out to the public on Sept. 4th.

Note that the Nik Color Eefex Pro 3 filters are not included. Also note that they won't run in the 64 bit version but will run in the 32 bit version. If you have a 64 bit machine you can get the 32 and 64 bit versions.

Hope that helps....thanks GP

I received an email with that offer. I prefer the boxed version, but the download offer is less expensive. It sounds great. I didn't realize it was such a deal. I'll have to order mine, too. Thanks!

As did I Cottondog, lots of goodies in this one, pleased to see they have not followed Adobe and are going to continue to sell it

Dpullum I think it is well worth it for the price, not sure if you get the extras in the trial version, "Perfectly Clear" and "Reallusion Face Filter 3"

Yep, decided, thanks for the push... also it is 64 bit and that kicks the program faster.

Do you realize that living in Adelaide, South Australia as you do that your Off-Planet World (Blade Runner) has plants and animals and straight forward women not found anywhere else in the world. Have been to OZ twice, big Adventure Kingdom.

They are part of the "Ultimate" version of PaintShop Pro. It is slightly more than the "regular" version but well worth the difference. They do come with the pre-release version that is being offered now.

I'm still on 4. Guess I'd have to do the upgrade to 5 to get the upgrade to 6. Oh, well, still don't use 25% of 4, no need to get more functionality than I would use.

strange,

I don't recall ever getting an email regarding X6.

I'm satisfied with X5; X6 would have to be something really special to make me want to upgrade.
I don't need more instagramish filters, rather tools that bridge the gap between PSP and PS like Jasc used to put in back when PSP was an actual contender.

--------------------

Alrighty, I checked my email again and it seems like I received the email last night. I'm downloading the demo right now.
I have to admit, that I did like what I saw in the demonstration videos. Further, their new selection tool appears to be exactly what I was hoping for--let's see if it works like I need it to.
I have facefilter 2...got it when I got PSPX5. It's a joke.
In this case, if I do decide to upgrade, I will get the standard version.

hlmichel, said in part: " their new selection tool appears to be exactly what I was hoping for--let's see if it works like I need it to."

Well that is what attracted me the selection tool, let me know how it works out for you.

I have X5 ultimate, and have never used the addins provided, rather I have the full Topaz package to work my magic. I have a friend who scorns me, she says if taken properly one should not need but minimum post. ssssssh" don't tell her that i cleaned up one of her photos and it looked a lot better with a good cleaning and Topaz massage.
