Neat photo. But this is definitely a Hawk. I'm also thinking a Sharp Shined or it could be a young Red Shoulder.

What a cute baby hawk! He looks just like the red-tailed hawk that took up residence on our 9 acres. I keep waiting for him to land somewhere near so I can have that Kodak moment. Great shot.
