As per Jomak1's suggestion, here is the photo converted to B&W in PS6. IMHO, I miss the strength of the sky in the B&W version but like the drama that the B&W adds to the contrails. I had to tone down the reds to give the planes more contrast against the sky. If anyone wants to have a go at the B&W version, feel free.
5 Across Loop - B&W
Congrats. Very nice shot.
Wow! Very impressive. Both versions have their strengths but think my vote would go with the b and w. what do others think?
Congrats! Wonderful composition. Thanks for sharing.
The other photographers must have paid a lot of money to tie with you!
Wow, great shot. You should be extremely proud of yourself, I know that I am proud for you. Made my day! I normally like some B&W's, but in this case, the color one is like God made it for you, now do like Him and rest on the seventh day, perfect job.

Nice photograph.
The guy 2nd from left is a bit out of position.
Don't think so. The 4 to the right appear to be correct to me, with the one to the left just a tad in advance of the rest of the team. That are my ruler's bent.
P.S Magic shot.

Well it's not Canadian Geographic and it was tied for first with 4 other submissions but this area has a number of very good photographers whose work is regularly published in the local paper. So just being in their company is quite an honor for me. C&C welcome.
Great shot, Carter. Got to love those Snow Birds!
I love your composition as the vapor trails take one through the space and create great visual elements.
