Hello everyone, I am new to photography and slowly learning. As a wide format print shop owner, I figured it was time to print my own images on canvas, as we have been doing this for years for others. Here is my first attempt at HDR photo taking and processing. I would love some feedback from others, thanks in advance

Hello Doug. We could give you better feedback if you posted your digital photo file rather than a photo of a printed and framed one.

Welcome to our forum! You're in a great line of work, being able to make quality prints of your images. That's a nice-looking scene.
Hi so far I think you are on the right lines but seeing the image rather than a photograph of it would help get better critique

I think his point was to show the finished product - his HRD printed on canvas.
Welcome to the Hog Doug. Glad you jumped in to photography and to the Hog. From what I can see it looks like you have a good image there. ;)
Yes I agree, here is the unframed image after processing. as well as another of the same stage from a different angle

I am certainly fortunate to have such a scenic pallet to shoot in my back yard. I am also wanting to take more images from my boat. I was thinking the only way to do this will be to take one shot in RAW and do a pseudo type processing ? Thank you for the welcome comments, there will be more post to follow I am sure
Doug, the original (#1 above) is wonderful except I hate power lines. If was boss of the world they would all be underground. LOL. I you have a program such as Elements 11 you can brush out the lines which would vastly improve this image for me at least. ;)
I thought of that, and I agree , I also hate power lines. but then I thought it is part of that scenery and when some one looks it a long time from now, they will say LOOK it when the power lines were still in the air ? much like the old trolley electrical lines used to be I the city.
Well done both shots look good not overcooked like some I've seen.
