Hi Hogs. It's the annual village show next weekend and I want to enter the photography class. There are two sections, "Friends" and "A Rural Scene". I've got the friends sorted out but cannot decide which is my Rural Scene, I've got some on the short list, would you mind having a quick look and telling me which most constitutes a Rural scene?
I've only lived in the country for 60+ years! Can't see the wood for the trees!

Sheep in the mist

A foggy morning

Ewes and lambs

Sheep on't road

#2 and #4 do it for me. Out of those two I think #2 is best for rural scene. Just one man's opinion

They are all "rural" scenes. I favor the first, second and last scenes. All of them are well composed and intriguing in different ways. I think any of those three would be a good contender, they had the best first impression for me. Best of luck!

Wow! Thanks guys n gals, you lot are so quick, they'd hardly finished uploading, (with 0.5 meg broadband it takes some time!).
I'm keeping a log and "Sheep ont road" seems to be winning. It was the one my daughter and son-in-law picked but I don't think it's my choice.............. yet!
Got to go out now, I'll check later to see if anyone else "votes".
