I took this pictured back in 2003 with a 5MP HP PhotoSmart C935. It was a lucky shot as I had no clue what I was doing. My wife and I were walking the beach and it was just a beautiful sight to see. I touched it up a little bit, but thought it turned out good.
Not sure if these settings on this camera will help anyone, but I thought id share them
f-stop - f/5
exposure time - 1/2083
Iso - 100
aperture mode
centered weighed

Thanks Photoman74 and jeanbug35
I was stationed in California in the early 70's and my fondest memories were going to the Monterey pop festival and the fishermans wharf. Got to return there someday. Great sunset.

VietVet, fishermans wharf was a great time! I'm with you I need to get back there some day! That was part of our honeymoon, so maybe 15 or 20 year anniversary :)
Puglover thanks for looking.
This is at the same beach but the sun is to the right of my camera. The original picture was pretty dark and I didn't love it but thought it had potential. I ran it through photomatix pro and I liked loved the way it turned out all except the sky.....
