Bigcoz, That is a Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 lens with VR. I normally have my speed set to > 1/1000 sec when I hand hold it. Arnold

Great Shots! I am always impressed with someone who can get excellent bird shots. I have a friend that they seem to come and pose for her. Either I'm too impatient or just not lucky so I work more with landscapes. I do congratulate you and your effort!

Thanks so much for your comments. Yep, it takes being patience, knowing the right places to go, going out frequently, and then some luck to capture good bird photos. :) Arnold

I really like your bird shots Arnold. Those Osprey are real unique birds and have more guts than a government mule! I saw one take on an eagle when I was down in Florida. That Osprey had no idea that he was absolutely no match for the eagle and proceeded to put the run on the much larger opponent in a very short time. Keep up the great work!!
