As I want to buy in the UK

Do any members in the UK have D7000 batteries other than Nikon and where from would you suggest.

I am happy with Amazon.

Thank you

Yes In fact they hold more mA hours than Canon Original.

No experience with D7000, but 7dayshop I recommend as a supplier, having used them for years. They do supply the battery equivalent you are after.

Can also reccomend 7day shop. Use them for all my standard battery needs. Good service.
I have also used the 'old' JESSOPS to buy a duracell branded battery for Mrs. N's Panasonic P & S. Been O.K. so far, but don't know whether the 'new' JESSOPS carry the same line.

For what it is worth, There is a chip in the battery that regulates the power of the cell over the charge- so it doesn't diminish I suppose, also regulates the amount of charge etc. Somewhere I read that this is a nice bit of carefully made circuitry that some off market brands may not be as careful with. Some are not good for the camera at all. At least that is what I read. I don't recall where.

I always thought I economize by buying elsewhere, but the darned things work so well, I figured why take a chance for a few dollars.

I did discover- while on the subject of batteries, if you run the battery completely down, it may seem to not take a charge at all. When inserted into the charger- the little LED does not blink or come on. By accident I left the battery in the charger at work- thinking it was dead, went and got a new one on my way home- . When I came in, the LED was on and the battery works as good as new. SO now I have three.

Once again... FYI and for what it may be worth.
