What Topaz product for PP?
Many on this forum use Topaz in post processing to make photos more appealing. There are 14 Topaz products, so how does one go about picking the right one? Is there one that is used most often by photographers on this forum? I am interested in hearing what you all think. Thanks!
It depends on what you want to do. I own two.... Remask and Star. They were purchased for specific reason. I like to mask photos and do composite work and on occasion, especially with lighting, a little glitter helps (but not too much). They can be expensive. Watch for coupon offers (which happen frequently). You can save from 15-50% on the purchase. Also, be sure to use the trial period. Make sure that the filter is going to do what you want, before you spend the money. Finally, Topaz has good products. They do what they say they will do. They are routines (macros) that you could learn to do yourself, without the filter, but, are great time savers and I have found them worth every penny spent.

Yes, there are 14 different products that do 14 different things.
Asking which one is used most, is like asking what's your favorite sports team!
You should check out the OnOne Perfect Suite. 7 different plug-ins for one price. And a 30 day trial to boot.

Good suggestions from all of the above.
Over the years I have increased my programs so I have quite a few. Nice thing about Topaz the individual programs are reasonable, expecially when one uses the discount code.
THe upgrades are always free and they have a series of webinars that are helpful.
Of course what your needs are will dictate which you might want to start using first.
Many start with "adjust" first, altho their Clarity which was recently release is very popular.
ONOne is a great product as well, it is a stand alone program. Topaz does have a platform for using their products as a stand alone vs a plugin.
I have all including FotoFXlab which allows me to use what Topaz plug-ins I need on the same picture in LR. Topaz does have a free trial period
Around black Friday, there are big discounts.
I use Adjust and Simplify on most things, with Detail3 on occasion. Depends on the photo, depends on what you want from it.
They're easy to use, very helpful timesavers, and often found at 50 percent off.
I have 10 of the 14. I find myself using Adjust5 the most. I have heard of some that like clarity which I intend to eventually get. Before purchasing I used the trial period. After a couple of weeks I decided on the Adjust5. A few days later I received an email for a sale they were running. So I went ahead and purchased the sale items. I'm not disappointed at all with my purchase.
I believe they sell a package deal for all the main programs. They now sell a stand-alone program so you don't need PS to have it in.

I have 3 of their plug-ins but have found I only use one of them on a somewhat fairly regular basis, that is "adjust 5".
Don't get me wrong, each of their programs works well for what it is intended to do. I just don't find a need for the others very often. One I do own but rarely use is DeNoise 5 because I have a different plug-in that I like better. I prefer Neat Images "reduce noise" over it, but that is my choice.

Go to topaz.com and you can look at each plugin and see what it does with a number of examples (before/after). As it has been said, you can buy the whole series or one at a time and use it stand alone with their proram photoFXlab or you can use PSE through "filters". I have several which I use a lot such as Adjust, Simplify, Detail3, and a new one called "Clarify." They have regular webinars by professional photographyers that are free and you can watch live and even ask questions during the program if you like. You can download any of their programs for a trial and upgrades are always free.Hope this helps.
Adjust 5 is really great. I have many, and use that one most often.

I would recommend Topaz Adjust to start with.
I bought the Suite and have added Clarity. Like many of the previous posters, prior to buying Clarity, Adjust was the most used, but now Clarity is.
All are great add-ins with distinctly different purposes. I find Denoise much more effective for removing noise that PS Elements. I also like Lens Effects.
Download them and try them.
