I had an accident yesterday. I was stopped to make a left hand turn going up a hill. There was 2 or 3 cars in front of me stopped also. A blazer came up the hill and "didn't see us stopped" and rear ended me and pushed me into the car in front of me.
Had a nice ride in an ambulance to the ER. Head CT and chest x-ray ok. Nicely bruised and sore today. Just glad I am ok....not so much for the car though

Somewhere, I have photos of a crash my daughter was in. She was driving into the sun, got more or less hypnotized, went off and flipped three times. A nurse saw the accident. She was lucky, bruises, some lacerations, no broken bones. My wife almost fainted when we saw the car. Plus, the battery exploded, and there was acid all over the place. Just getting her things out of the car, I ended up with holes in my shirt and jeans.

first, Thank God you are all right. Cars can be replaced, people can't. Thank you for keeping Americans at work by buying American. Sure proves the saying "Ford tough" Heres a photo of my 1st accident. senior in High school 1979. For the really observant that is a john anderson for president T shirt. I could have worn my Nixon in 1980, he is tanned, rested and ready t shirt but went with anderson instead. I think I wouls have voted for Josef Stalin just to get the buffon in chief Jimmy Carter out of there. (Jimmy, Georgia's revenge for Sherman burning Atlanta)

my daughter was in an accident a couple of years ago... someone a couple of cars ahead of her stopped suddenly on the freeway, the person behind hit the first car, and my daughter couldn't stop quickly enough to avoid hitting them. her '96 Jetta was totaled, but she was completely unharmed, and was in fact the first to call 9-1-1.

OK, now, if you just crush the roof on the passenger side, crunch up the windshield, and kind of lower the roof on the driver's side, you can begin to get the idea of what my daughter's car looked like. I just realized, that happened before I got my first digital camera. If I find the photos, I'll scan a couple in.

Sinatraman...You look like you weren't hurt, so that is good. My husband would like you very much...he is a "buy American" kind of guy too.
Squirl...hope your daughter wasn't hurt. It's the other drivers out there that a person needs to be more careful of.
RMM...Hope your daughter wasn't hurt.

It was a head on,almost didn't make it as I spent 16weeks in the hospital traumer center multi operation and still disabled but alive to see my family. my left eye is impared so I use my right eye to focus my camera. just a few month ago I was strong enough to hold my camera and I'm enjoying getting back to photography. In this photo I'm unconcious as they cut me out.I'm doing well just a slow recovery.

Oh my, Buddiesss. I'm sitting here with tears running down my face. My son's car looked much like yours except that it was a Mazda Miata. He lived but also spent weeks in the hospital and in rehab. The phone call telling us he was in critical condition just about killed us. Fortunately, there are gifted folks able to put broken people back together again. My prayers are with you.

OMG thanks! I think it was a gift too, as my wife was in the car too. her injuries wasn't as severeThe other driver walked away he was on the wrong side of the road and was under the influence of mariwana.thanks to the first responders and medical people that worked on me. They tell me that it's a good thing that 10 months before the accident I had 4 by passes and that made my heart strong enough to go through the trauma.

THAT'S a car crash! You two are lucky to have come through. I hope your recovery is swift and complete. My daughter's car looked worse, if you can believe it, but she was one lucky puppy. Looked like hell, but it was mostly bruises and minor abrasions. We took her home for a week to recover, and then I drove her back to school. As far as anyone can tell, the only permanent damage was minor impairment of her thumb on one hand, and that was comparatively minor.
