I have HDR pictures but I cannot save them to JPEG. I have now downloaded a ton of programs but still none will save as JPEG. If someone has any ideas I am open or at least delete these programs. Thank You
The program I am working with is Photomatrix and Irfanview.

Are you outputting in 8bit?
I save as .EXR 32bit and then convert that to JPEG.
Can you be more specific about your workflow problem?

I agree . . . sometimes when working in a program it saves the image as a 16 or 32 bit image which cannot be saved to JPEG.

I use Photomatix as a plug-in to Lightroom 3. I export my bracketed photos into Photomatix and when I am done processing I export them back into Lightroom. Then I can make any further adjustments and save the edited version as a JPEG.

Yes, to save as jpeg you have to knock it down to an 8 bits/channel

In photoshop: image>mode>8 bits/channel

This sounds dumb but quite possibly you aren't flatten the layered image. You cannot save a layered photo to JPEG.
I work with PS and occassionally I run into not being able to save as a JPEG.....only to discover that I haven't flattened the image. This is why my hair line is receding
