Hi Just thought I would share this red rose. It's from the bouquet my husband bought me on our anniversary last week. I just loved the depth of the red color when the setting sun hit the bouquet from the window. To me it's still not as magnificent in a photo but this is as close as I can get. Hope you like C & c welcome.

I cannot believe the difference in colour from posted image, to that of the downloaded version.
If this does not persuade people to download when possible I do not know what will.
Very nice in download Susan although the sharpness is not quite there.

I couldn't agree more Macro2009, I was shocked and disappointed at the colors when it posted, I'm glad I hit that download button. I agree it's not as sharp as it could be. I should have increased my f-stop up a notch or two I guess.
I have a heck of a time seeing up close; even with glasses; even the little display monitor is hard for me to tell. I have actually started allowing the camera to auto focus more-and-more, however this wasn't one of those times. ;-)

I would recommend you use the live view facility if you are having visual problems.

Even if it isn't as sharp as you would like, it makes a beautiful, romantic statement!!
If you don't want to click the 'store original' so people can see the full size image, you have to resize the image to no more than 600 pixels wide and 800 pixels tall in order to preserve most of the color and beauty of the original.
Of course if you resize, you want to save that as a COPY, do NOT lose the original of the beauty that you are capturing!
