I like #1 &3 the best. Not that I have anything against your husband, but you may want to lose the date. To me #1 shows why the rule of thirds should not be applied all of the time, even though the head is above center the neck is dead on, and it works. #3 makes me think of the old farm - kinda of barren, but fun.

Thanks. I had the date on my picture because at the time, It was ment to be a hiking log. We do alot of hiking and wanted to keep track of where and when. I no longer date them. I learned from a few nice shots I took, That while I wanted to keep track of when it was taken, I had defaced my picture. Thanks for your input. It helps to have others see your work.

Hi klbates64, and welcome.

I've visited 36 states, and Maine is one of my favorites. I just love Ogunquit. Do you have any photos from there? Bar Harbor is nice, too.

Looking forward to seeing your work!

I don't have any from there. We hike alot and there aren't many mountains there. We like the big ones. Kahtadin is really the only one we haven't done. Due to injury, we haven't done much this year. Do plan on some light houses next year in that vicinity. Here are some I did in Bar Harbor 2 days after Irene.

It was especially nice this day. The waves were rough from the Hurricane. The beach was closed for swimming. I did capture some ducks of some kind. I really appreciate your comments.
