Do you have the aperture wide open on the 50? What is the widest aperture on the 50?

Please provide a sample image showing the problem. It really helps UHH members to help you.
Thanks
Stepping down from 62 to 52 may be the cause of vignetting in your photos.

Does your 50-mm lens have a manual aperture ring? Your 50-mm needs to be wide open to f/1.8 and focused to infinity (shortest lens length) to prevent vignetting. For proper exposure, adjust aperture on the 105.

I tried the reverse on my Tamron and had the same problem chronic vignetting never did get to the bottom of it yet, I tried both setting aperture on each lens still had vignetting, I have yet to revisit but I was wondering if it is the recessing of the front element as the sigma has a deep recess also if I remember right.

You just have to zoom in past the vignetting with the lens on the camera.. Put also make sure the reverse lens is set to infinity and as Douglass mentioned wide open F/1.8

You are seeing the rear housing of the reversed lens. The same thing would happen to me when using a 50mm f/1.8 on a 100mm lens. The faster the reversed lens the larger the rear element and the problem is reduced. If you focus your Macro lens to close focus the problem will go away, but you have increased your magnification and also reduced your already minimal working distance... If you can get your hands on an old f/1.4 lens they are the best to use for that application.
