What a beautiful panoramic photo this is. Wish I'd been there. Nice job!!
Has to be the nicest I've seen so far. Well done. :thumbup:
This looks like a beautiful capture, but it is so hard to appreciate detail in your posted 'thumbnail' size image.
Would you be so kind as to re-post your photograph in this thread, but this time check the box labeled (store original).

I'm curious, what direction were you facing?
Beautiful, one of the best for sure.
Great shot drg. I was watching and unfortunately a big wolf spider was vying for my attention, yes there was screaming involved, so there was no way to stand by the tripod and shoot. Was a great show though, and having someone post the beauty of the sky and not the wolf spider guy, I really appreciate it.
By the way, what are the orange lights on the horizon to the right?

This is so good! It may be a clear night here in NJ and hopefully, down by the bay, we can see the shower! Summer of 1963 my husband to be were at a drive in movie and the persied showers were at a high! Now 50 years later, we will e happy to see them again. Perfect anniversary gift!
@1stjedi-I was facing East Southeast
@jjadeco25-the orange lights are clouds reflecting traffic light as this site was just off I-84 about 40 miles east of Portland, Oregon. I am sure I was surrounded by many spiders and centipedes (as this area is known for) but out of sight out of mind for me!!
@UHH folks, thank you for liking my photo. This is my second time trying astrophotography. I have a lot to learn and will continue to post for feedback so that I may improve. Likewise, I will offer kind words of criticism to any of you who would like to post your work as well. I have loaded the original for those that would like to see it much bigger. Thank you. Greg
