Distortion correction.
I've looked on-line for some tutorials. The ones I found are for "wide angle" lenses, and I need to fix an 8mm fisheye. I normally leave it alone because I like it, but my sister wants an image of mine and she doesn't like it. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

I wonder how Lightroom 5 would handle that , with their new "upright".
PaintShopPro x4 has distortion correction for "barrel" and "pincushion" and just found a "fisheye" distortion correction.
Haven't had a photo to try it on though. Post a photo here if you would like me to try it in PSP and repost for you.
That distortion is minor!! The correction for the gazebo introduces more on the sides........ But here is my try.
Adobe Camera Raw allows for lens distortion corrections. You can also post the picture and allow someone to help you with your edits. Gary

I saw that you attached the original after my first comments. Here is my attempt with CS5, Filter, Lens correction. I hope this helps. Gary

I tried correcting the distortion in your image. I strongly suspect that this is not the whole image out of the camera. Distortion correction algorithms assume that the center of the image is the optical axis of the lens. If it is not, the correction can't be made accurately.
I see two corrections needed, first the fisheye barrel distortion and then the perspective correction since the camera was pointed upward toward the gazebo.
Post the whole image or Email it to me and I will straighten it out and post the result. Correction obviously must distort the image so that the corners are very extended and cropping is necessary.
Nice image, by the way :-)

Another version using Photoshop's ACR lens correction with manual settings.
Thanks guys. They all turned out better than my attempt.

No, this image is uncropped. I checked the data of another shot I took minutes after this one, they have the exact same pixel counts, and I know the second image is uncropped. Not sure if it helps but, taken with a T2i and a Rokinon 8mm fisheye.
Thanks.
Maybe this is more like you prefer.

WOW! Yours looks great! The original has too many different distortions to make it easy.

Thanks, Wahawk. Gotta give credit to Adobe, though. 5-minute job.
