They both got off easy. For that much obvious, planned fraud, they both got very light sentences.
I think Obama should take this opportunity to visit his friend in the prison. Security will already be supplied, and he'll get to see first hand what prisoners have to deal with. Problem is, he'll want to let them all out early.
It seems like Mrs. Jackson won't serve her time until Jesse finishes serving his. By that time her lawyers will have brokered a better deal.

Not a bad gig - spend 30 months in jail get to keep to $750K and still gets his full pay and insurance for life because he was a member of congress, because that's a law they passed to protect themselves in situations like this.

So only 30 months---well if it's like here he gets a third off soon as the gavel drops, then a third more if he's a good boy(oops,I meant person--LOL) so in all likely hood he'll be out in ten months.

Also he is in a Federal prison which is like a country club compared with regular prison. Should have put him on the chain gang!
