That's crap, his budgets did not include those wars as they were considered to be emergency spending but they were included in off budget expenditures, the reconciled budget reporting did, when you look up the historical deficits those wars are accounted for.... If you look at budgets at the CBO website or a host of others you will see exactly what I am talking about.

HOPE you feel good about yourself because you are dead wrong! We're still waiting to see if Democrats can do math at all!

Why are you worried on reducing the deficit, if are not going to paid it. There is any significant impact in your life?

Now that is a really silly question, yes there is an impact on all of our lives and the most adversely effected are low income people folks and those on fixed incomes.

Please think about what national debt really does... I am not going to take the time to explain it to you but I think that maybe somehow if you give it some thought you just might be able to figure it out....

There is no trying to talk reality, logic or common sense to people who don't want to hear it because it destroys the thoughts/images in their minds created by the carnival barkers on the right. Pity these people. But pity the USA more because of the venom they hold in their hearts and minds. And, so many of them think of themselves as good "Christians". Christ would be appalled.

Another right wing lie. Every study, including those by the CBO, has shown that Obamacare will have a significant impact on reducing the deficit. That's one reason why Republicans will never repeal it. They KNOW they'll get creamed by Democrats on this one fact alone.

Yes, that is correct, the ACA will reduce the Federal Deficit by $109 billion over a 10 year period, the same 10 year period that it strips some $700 billion from Medicare.... That projection heavily relies on the Doc Fix not being passed as well as congress not rescinding other cutting provisions to the bill... Congress has a long history of passing the doc fix and it will be a real challenge for the dems to allow the cuts that they themselves made to Medicare to go through....

You're right, I did not address your post at all because I was addressing Tschmath's post where he said

How in the world I ended up responding to your silly post I have no idea, so please excuse me... BTW I don't consider myself to be christian... does that do anything for your image of Christians? Are you so bigoted that you honestly believe that all conservatives are bible thumping Christians? Is that what the MSNBC tells you you should think of conservatives?

"Striping $700 million from Medicare". Just like death panels, a right wing lie. An out and out lie. Not one PENNY in senior benefits is being stripped from Medicare. There were reduced payments to hospitals and other providers, but not one benefit or procedure or medication was cut from senior care. Just another right wing attempt at scaring those who are most easily frightened.

And what's REALLY hysterical is that Paul Ryan's budget DOES cut that much directly from Medicare. He cut it with one hand, and tried to lie about it with the other in an attempt to scare seniors into opposing Obama. Lies lies lies.

Right, They reduced the payments to providers who they were already paying below insurance rates.... Tschmath, what do you think that the Doc Fix is? Has there ever been a year where the congress did not pass a Doc Fix? Each year after the board of trustees issues their report on the future solvency of the program that include the reduced rates for doctors, the congress changes the reimbursement rates back to where the docs will actually continue to see patients. If you want to play stupid and not recognize when the government is pulling a three card monty on you that is fine, but don't expect the rest of us to be so gullible.

I am a Christian.

I believe the only, strong, support today's GOP has is from Bible-thumping Christians, those who want to justify their hatred of President Obama and the extremely wealthy who laugh at the poor/middle class who have voted to give them tax breaks.

The wealthy and corporations vote against those who support them by destroying unions. The unions who have given them the only upward mobility they have even been given.

The politicians the dupes vote for, legislate to take away what the unions have given them.. decent wages, benefits, vacations, breaks, safe working conditions, etc.

Fools can't see this. They vote for those who despise them and want to take away any worker rights that have been given to them by unions.

No I'm very sorry to disagree, but he was very clear as to the extent of reductions in BENEFITS AND SERVICE to those on Medicare will be.

I am a Christian. br br I believe the only, stron... (show quote)

Anybody with eyes who can see has reason to be a conservative, anyone who truly understands economic principles has reason to be a conservative, anyone who does not want the coming welfare state has reason to be a conservative. Anyone who has read and actually understands the constitution and its beauty has reason to be a conservative... Anyone who loves liberty has reason to be a conservative....

I don't know where you get off stating that only the lapdogs of the rich and large corporations would support conservative goals.
