Wow, RR. A real challenge. (Don't anyone mention standing on your head to shoot where Jim can hear you.)

jk, Jim, jk.

I know how to cheat......did you see Bushido's mushroom? Well here is a trick to avoid knee contact with terra ferma, lay a mirror under the mushroom and then shoot into the mirror...

That's a really nice series, RR. Beutifully taken at nicely composed low perspectives.

I have a few from the archives for tonight, but I promise to find something of interest around here tomorrow.

Very nice, the angles are what it is all about and besides I have a short memory

A little of this and that.

Those buildings are awesome. Eagles, which we do not have here are fascinating, they always seem so intense.

A few more. What is fun about hosting is that only you know what to do therefore you have ample time to play around.

Different angles, different scenes.

RR, I am also getting close to the age I can not get down as low as I use to. In order to solve the problem of not being able to look in the view finder I picked up a right angle viewer on Amazon for a little over $50. It is not a $300+ Nikon viewer yet it does the trick. It is distributed under the name Seagull and is made in China. I like the bean bag idea and have used a similar camera stabilizer made from a sock and rice. As they say "Necessity is the mother of invention" or something along those lines.

Hey, you sure do catch onto low angles. Great shots and subject matter.

In the fifth photo that I posted there is an error. When you are shooting like this many of us cannot use the viewfinder so I set it up as best I can but often they photos wil not ne horizontally corrret but by using Lightroom it can be corrected by working on the ''Rotation'' slider, which I did but I forgot to crop out as a photo which is rotated the original form will remain as grey.

One other thing you might be interested in, a bubble level that attaches to the camera's hot shoe. It makes it much easier to level the camera when it is sitting on a beanbag. The cost is minimal for one of those on Amazon.

Well folks, I'm posting early as I am leaving and will be back real late and may not feel like posting at that hour.

This one is Low Angle photography which is hard on knees made of titanium, but still fun to do.

What I did was to make up a bean bag of beans, naturally, and put them in a ziplock and then placed the camera as low as possible. Of course if I owned a little bitty tripod it would have worked wonderfully, but I don't so I made up a bean bag.

These first shots were taken a few days ago over in Québec City at sunrise, so as to have the streets to myself and it worked well.

Enjoy the Challenge....
