All the original accessories that came with the lens are included.
That includes box, caps, case, etc. I did not buy an extra filter.
I have had the lens for about a year. It is the newest version - smooth finish. Purchased from B&H. $1600 new
I used it on a Florida trip and a few times for birds in the back yard. The lens works perfectly, and only has a couple small rub marks on the lens shade. No scratches.
