Constructive Feedback on these shots please.

Clear skies, pitch dark, only light was from my 90 lumens headlamp atop Lassen Volcano at LVNP. Used a Canon 6d, 16-35mm f/2.8 II USM lens at 30 secs, f/2.8 ISO ranged from 1600 to 6400 but I think my best shots were at 4000. I manually focused but as you can see, some of the more clustered areas of the first photo seem to be a tad OOF. I only used LR4.4 for PP. What do you all think?

Not too shabby. I've been wanting to head up to Lassen for a few shots like this myself (haven't found the time...yet). My only complaint would be the composition in your last shot. The Milky Way is too close to the tree.

Thank you all for the feedback. I wanted to mix the two; to show the tree's branches/tree as part of the milky way and vice versa since nature is one and the same. It's all beautiful!

All 3 are great. I would be very proud if they were mine. :thumbup:

I think the composition of all three is very interesting/good. You have shots I'd love to have made. Keep up the great work. I'll bet you had fun doing these. I'd be hoppin' up and down with excitement.
