CC on my first real attempt at celestial photography

Clear skies, pitch dark, only light was from my 90 lumens headlamp atop Lassen Volcano at LVNP. Used a Canon 6d, 16-35mm f/2.8 II USM lens at 30 secs, f/2.8 ISO ranged from 1600 to 6400 but I think my best shots were at 4000. What do you all think?

Your top pic is the best. I particularly like the forground which gives good dimension to the celestial part.

Very nice...and the second seems to show two meteors in one shot! At least I suspect they are meteors and not satellites or airplanes because they seem to come from a radiant in the right direction for Perseids.

What do you think?

Excellent shots, thanks for posting. Number 1 is the one for me, but #3 is a close 2nd. How did you handle the noise problem? What program did you use to do your PP?
