I'm not a great fan of the current trend, here in the UK anyway, of turning everything into black and white. But I do think a little de-saturation can work when a little thought is put into it.

Beautiful expression. Reminds me of my one year old twin granddaughters. Interested in what you're saying but not enough to put down their snack. Thanks for sharing.

Love the photo... composition

I prefer colour or B&W IMHO.....or very subtle reduction in colour this seems in between in that it flattens the Lovely eye colour and maybe just bringing back the colour in here eyes will give it that "Pop"

I like desaturated photos, but agree with jobox on this one, I'd at least put a layer mask over the eyes and keep them as sharp and clear as possible. I can only imagine how beautiful they are.

I had considered doing that but I didn't want to over process it because there comes a time when it stops being the person you photographed. Thanks to all for your comments.
