I like the vantage point/compostition of your shots. It seems every pic/postcard of the Nubble is taken from the same place.

Thank you for the Great compliments, # 1 I did have printed on a canvas and is on the wall. And Yes, Most of the shots of the Nubble are mostly all taken from the same vantage point. I did Attempt to get some shots when a storm was going thru but the local law enforcement wouldn't allow any one to get close. Except for themselves of course, who I imagin got a few good shots. I was able to get a few shots from the lawn of a "Summer Residence" that weren't too too bad tho.

Well ok, if you wish to believe that, but did you ever notice the BIG RIVER that seperates Maine and New Hampshire down Maine ? The Nubble is about 7 miles up the coast .. give or take a few. Even Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard is in Kittery Maine.

Greetings from Maine. I Just returned from your area of the country, spent a few days in Grand Have Mich. Nice area with some great sunsets on lake Mich..
With 3500 miles of coastline, you should be able to grab a couple pictures of some boats I would think.
Late Sept and early Oct are the better times to come if you also want to get in on the foliage. But sad to say but the foliage hasn't been that great the past 3-4 years, tends to be spotty. nothing seems to be changing at the same time recently. We have alread had a 47 deg evening last week, wonder what the fall will be like this year ?
