lord help us.. Bush/Palin 2016 called 'the GOP's only chance'
I agree with "mama Bush" as well, dirtpusher. I'd like to see a conservative candidate that not only could win, but actually be the best qualified for the job. I don't think Jeb Bush is that person.
And as much as I'd like to see Sarah Palin in the White House in some capacity, I don't think she can draw enough support. Both are strongly vetted and most certainly there is nothing in Palins life that has not be diced and sliced, disproved and shown to be a product of leftist hate." I don't really think most people will set aside their sour feelings about Palin to offer the necessary support. No matter how many times over Palin has earned the people's respect, they seem unwilling to show it.
Probably sounds strange, and it's certainly premature, but I like to see something like a Pres. Palin/VP Paul Ryan ticket. Maybe it's a good thing it's too early for any of this discussion!
Please let the GOP run Palin again!

I like the sound of that. It's time conservatives stop allowing the left to influence the selection of their candidates by calling them stupid or saying "Please let the GOP run Palin again"!
If we run candidates that we can be sure won't compromise (read that let the Democrats have everything they want), I think they'd win in a landslide!

I remember a few discussions after the 2012 election concerning some 3 million conservative voters who simply didn't go to the polls. The conversation was that our candidate just did not inspire these voters. I couldn't help wonder if it would have been different had our candidate been less centered, more like a Herman Cain or Sarah Palin.

OMG ole Sarge! They're actually serious about Palin being on the next ticket.
The title of this thread needs to be changed to,
"Abandon all hope, all ye who enter here!"

Yeah, they're serious as are the majority of the posters on this site. I'll bet most of 'em would like to see young Bush back again. It's very disconcerting to realize that most people - yes, most - don't know how to think critically.

The perfect ticket would be Ric Santorum and Princess Sarah Palin. Truly a choice and not an echo.
this sounds like a car dealership's year end close out sale.

If ole sarg is against it, it must be good. He would probably rather have Jessie Jackson as President and Lindsay Lohan as VP. Two of the worlds top losers. Ole sarg is right up there with them.

I had planned on voting for Cain. I attended one of his campaign rallies and was very impressed. I'd like to see him in some cabinet position when the Republicans take back the White House in 2016.

Here's an even bigger nightmare.
S'pose the incumbent decides to change the Constitution more by trying to pull a FD Roosevelt by saying letting him go for #3 is the "Only Way"
Of course I'm being silly by saying that the incumbent would try to change the Constitution, aren't I ?

Danilo, for the very first time I believe you have taken leave of your senses. Sarah Palin has proven to be a loser on the national level and Paul Ryan proved himself clumsy and impotent during the Romney campaign. I have always credited Palin for sounding the death knell to McCains run (not that he would have won anyway) and Ryan as an albatross on Romney (who maybe could have won)
Sorry Danilo but I could not imagine 2 worse choices. Have you switched parties?
