Wissahickon Creek is well within the city limits of North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It in Wissahickon Valley Park, northeast of Henry Avenue - east of the Schuykill River. It really comes into its own in the fall...but don't go there unarmed and alone after dark.
Why unarmed and not alone?
One of the most beautiful photo sites I know. Made 16 X20 canvas print of the area.
I was just there riding bikes last weekend with the family. I was thinking about how many photo opps there are. Next time I'll go by myself and bring my camera.
