SOLICITING YOUR INPUT... WHICH ONE FOR CALENDAR ENTRY
Wow, they're all good! Mabey you should add two more and do your own calender. Having said that, I agree with Nikonian's choice.

I think this is a very good set. Isn't it funny how tastes differ?! For my money it's a toss-up between Sebago Clouds and Sebago Sunset. Matching the shot to a month was also a good suggestion.
Tough call, too many good ones to just pick one!
Good luck
I so appreciate your eyes helping me choose, thank you s2hrts! :-) :-)

After looking at ALL of these photos, I'm not convinced you should be entering any ONE of them in a calendar contest; instead, I think you should publish your own calendar.
What a very generous thing to say 1stJedi!! Just maybe I will :) - it would easier than making a choice!
I would pick "Fall Foliage" if I only had to pick one.
All are good shots.
Some gorgeous shots here, Kerry. Very difficult to pick a single--or even two--best. Western Sky would be my pick, but Sebago Clouds would be an almost even second choice. Great work on them all.
I'm guess the 8x10 needs to be horizontal. I think you need to crop all these so we can come back!
#1 was my favorite, but sadly it sounds like you won't be able to use it. I cropped my second-favorite of yours to 8x10, but it doesn't have quite the same impact. 8x10 is so darned boring a shape :)
My least favorite is the fall reflection because of white sky There are so many Maine autumn scenes that are so stunning. I think of the crisp autumn air with dark blue sky and saturated leaf colors.
Re the "month" thing: it would be interesting to know if they will look for images that are obvious as one season or month, or would one that covers Apr - Sep (like this one) have a better chance because of its flexibility?
My second choice would be Wild Western Sky as it is nearly 8x10 already and is a strong image - like many calendars.
Sebago Clouds as 8x10
If I have to pick only one, Wild Western Sky, I like most of them to varying degrees,
Bob.
They are all excellent. My fave is the wild western sky.
It's the Art Ice for me...very unusual, perfect for December. They are all beautiful and I agree with some others...do your own calendar. ;-)
Hello, it has to be Ice Art for me, you have the movement of the waves plus the captured ice with the sun catching the tops of everything, what ever one you choose it will be down to you how you felt about the moment and if you have been given instructions regarding a particular season to represent. All the very best
Geoff
The Wild Western Sky my overall favorite

Your thoughts on which of the following images I should enter into the 2014 Portland Water District Calendar Contest featuring Lake Sebago, would be gratefully appreciated. Critique, also, is always welcome!
Enter them all and let them choose.

I'm getting more indecisive by the minute ;) so thank you, Randy, for taking time to share your opinion. I trust your expert eye! I'm leaning towards Sebago Clouds too - but need to play with resizing them.... Thank you!
