Went out to the county park yesterday after lunch and
got a few random pictures with the Canon 7D and 100-
400 L. Cloudy overcast humid day, but I had fun with
one of the local squirrels. mdh

I upgraded this past xmas from a Canon 450d and am very happy with the 7D. I'm still learning how to use it, but truly enjoy it and am glad I spent the money :)

Nice series. Looks like you had fun.
Shutterbug1130, Thank you, I just have to get out and
do a few pictures now and then. The rain here has really
put a damper on it though. mdh
vicksart, Yes, but it was so hot and muggy that by the
time I made my trek threw the woods with the 100-400L
I didn't take time and go back with the 24-105 L. The
flower pictures would have been better. Wanted to go
again today but no it had to rain again. Thanks for Looking.

colo43, Thank you. That squirrel got so close to me
that I couldn't focus with the 400 L at times. I hope
to get there early one morning and get a few shots.
Is it still raining out your way. It is raining every day or
at night here and looks to do so for the next two weeks.
How is Hev and Granny doing? mdh

Nice set. Like the squirrel!
Erv, I think it is a Buckeye Tree and I also noticed that
the Squirrels don't eat them. I will pull one the next trip out and peel it to make sure. They were brought to the park and planted along with a lot of other bushes and flowers. We have a very long winding walking trail here and it is surrounded by flower beds and different foliage and flowers. Thanks for looking Erv. mdh
jeanbug35, Thanks Jean, I had fun watching this one. He
was not afraid to come close. The park is full of them but
most will not get that close or will run if you move. This
one at times would get to close for the 100-400L to focus.
It has to have 1.8 meters. Thanks for looking. mdh
